My father and I used to play a game in which he drew a dotted circle and I would carefully trace it with my five-year-old hand. I would spend countless hours chasing after him to draw me a new circle. Now that I have advanced from tracing circles to creating work on my own, I look back and see how I have truly been a designer my whole life. I am looking to further my design skills through a position in design with a firm where I can utilize my creative skills.

I have a variety of experiences from the freelance work that I have done and I have applied my design skills to many of the activities in which I participate. I take pride in being organized, managing my time well, taking initiative, and being able to multi-task, as well as having great enthusiasm for my work and studies.

I am eager to create designs for a company that offers great opportunities for me to do real work. This would give me a chance to attain valuable hands-on experience, to contribute to the ever increasingly exciting world of the design industry, and to have the ability to work with an exciting creative team. I would like to work for a company that encourages something very important to me ... the ability to smile while doing my job.
